Anti-Asian Hate Resources

The recent wave of racism and violence against Asian Americans is sadly nothing new.  For far too long, we have been dismissed by society, and as a result, many of us have kept to ourselves, afraid to speak out against any hate or harm that comes our way.  But enough is enough.  All of us, Asians and non-Asians alike, must unite today in saying NO to xenophobia, NO to scapegoating, and NO to attacks against our seniors and most vulnerable members of our community.”  –Abigail Zelenski, 2021 PABA President.

At the Philippine American Bar Association, we stand in solidarity against AAPI hate and hate in all forms.  Between March 2020 and the beginning of April 2021, according to Stop AAPI Hate, there have been approximately 4,000 recorded hate incidents and hate crimes.  We understand that there are likely many unreported hate incidents and hate crimes.  Note that many agencies and organizations allow you to report anonymously.

If you have been a victim of or witnessed a hate incident or hate crime, we urge you to report it.  Here are some available resources*:
